Squadron Leader Bert Houle (my great uncle). Essentially a recreation of a WWII photo. Painting for Michel Lavigne's book, 'Bert Houle - The Man and the Aircraft' . In this S/L Houle has his finger through a 20mm cannon shell hole in his Spitfire's rearview mirror.
