A Hurricane pilot of RCAF No.2 (soon to be 402) Sq., gazes toward an English
country sunrise. In mid 1940, during the Battle of Brittan, No.2 was the
second fighter squadron the RCAF sent to Europe. By the end of the war
Canada would field over forty squadrons, both bomber and fighter.
